Range condition class

Confusion has existed regarding both definition and use of this term. The following fits the thinking expressed in the definition range condition: one of a series of arbitrary categories used to either classify the ecological status of a specific range site in relation to its potential (early, mid, late, or potential natural community) or classify management-oriented value categories for specific potentials, e.g., good condition spring cattle range.
